Coffee is more than a drink.
It’s a catalyst for conversation and community.
We love that.
Grounded Coffee and Gathering was created as a space in the Moot where people could relax, chat, and drink good (well we think very good) coffee. Since then it has grown to become something much more special.
Through Grounded Coffee and Gathering we have made some incredible friends, been able to collaborate with various artists and business people, and together with everyone dream about what else could be.
We hope that you’ll enjoy your experience at Grounded Coffee and Gathering as much as we have enjoyed the journey that has brought us here.

Winter Menu 2017
We strive to offer exceptional quality and value with all of our menu items. Our espresso blend is a mixture of Brazilian, Guatemalan, and Costa Rican beans, medium dark roasted to preserve the more delicate flavours while still producing a full bodied shot. Likewise, our menu items contain the freshest ingredients sourced both from within our community and from external suppliers.
This is a space at Grounded Coffee and Gathering where local artists or aspiring creatives can exhibit their work. Please contact us if you would like to give it a shot.

Minimal Scapes is part of an on-going personal project of photographing desolate landscapes mostly on 35mm film. To me, Southern Africa consists of ever changing light and natural subjects constantly grabbing my attention. Inspired by natural wonder and my own personal relation to it, I’ve always translated nature as art.
